Or maybe the one who was beheaded didn't know how many times a Sunni kneels (as opposed to the Shia) or something like that.

The guy who was beheaded was a member of Al Qaeda. He was injured in a battle with Assads soldiers, he was part of the Al Qaeda Ahrar al Sham brigade. Some members of the Al Qaeda ISIS brigade found him, thought he was an enemy soldier, and then beheaded him in a square inside Aleppo publicly. They found out very quickly that he was actually one of their own. In other good news, jm reading the Ahrar al sham and ISIS have been clashing violently all day over this.
