Fascinating piece. I don't know how accurate this is but it's certainly interesting to explore. I am inclined not to dismiss its premise because plague has generally been a fairly low-virulence disease today, even in third-world places without any modern facilities. But the following line was hilarious:

Isn't this exactly what is happening all across Europe today--if we're talking about Koranrats?  :laugh: :::D :laugh:

Good article, we need to be reminded of how bad things were, and how bad they could get.
