Any ideas.  I like observing animals in nature.

I love birds, but I don't know where you live.

Newport Backbay is good.

I would think that any estuarine environment would be ideal.

Hey Scriabin,

I'm in the NYC area, but do have pretty easy access to Long Island, where I birdwatch on occasion.  In NYC itself, it seems like the most predominant birds are sparrows, pidgeons, and Starlings.  Not that I have anything against these breeds, but I like to see a little more variety.  Thanks for your input.

I'd be looking for anywhere with open grassland and freshwater lakes.

Israel is a World center for bird watching. Migrating birds fly through The Syrian-African Rift Valley which runs through Israel as The Jordan Valley on their way from Europe to Africa and back.

Imagine if every muslim was instead, a bird.
