Self explanatory.

The US? I didn't vote on this. Did you?
-
I didn't vote yet. My initial reaction is yes..I'm happy the kurds can defend themselves against those monsters. I like to see my enemies defeated.
Should I like the Kurds? I'm not sure.
-
Yes for sure.
-
No because the Kurds are Muslim Nazi beasts & I don't thrust them.
How can anyone here thrust a Muslim? If they really supported Israel then they wouldn't be Muslims. No Muslim supports a Jewish state.
Also by killing ISIS you are stopping them from advancing on Iran in the near future.
-
Yes, we should of funded them in the first place. They are pro American and Israel.

So we should keep letting ISIS slaughter non Muslims? Killing and raping women and children. .. selling women as sex slaves?
-
Believe me Obama is being forced to do this it is an election year & he doesn't want the Republicans to take over the senate as well.

I agree!

Of course not but the title of this thread was help the Kurds and they are Muslims.
Maybe there is non Muslim Kurds I don't know about?

Is ISIS anti Iran? How do you know this? Thanks.

The Yezdi are non-muslamic type of Kurds. But their population is too meager to effectively put any kind of worthwhile resistance against the ISIS or any other shia or sunni muslamic terrorism.
So only Kurds in general can be helped with small and medium weapons to fight against the ISIS terrorism of the sunni muslamic caliphate. Albeit most Kurds are sunni, but they do not prefer to favor any other sunni or shia muslamics.
Kurds can be of a real great help in extending the protracted war of the muslamic infighting.

ISIS is Sunni & Iran is Shia. Both can't get along & I hope they massacre each other.

That would be the best solution: ISIS and Iran engage in a brutal long lasting murderous war.

I've never met a Kurd that likes Jews, but I keep hearing they are our allies.. I would say a separatist Kurdish republic is a good thing though to help rival both Shia and Sunni factions. So, I will say I am not against the US arming Kurds to fight both ISIS and Iran.

I saw a number of them saying they are pro Israel, few not because they are Muslims, but they are VERY anti-Arab. You could see they are allergic to Arabs that's for sure.
-
They have been protesting with pro Israeli's in the America's against pallywood and pro ISIS protesters...
They are the one's saving Iraqi Christians and Yezidi in Iraq!
Look how the Kurds treat their women. ... The Kurds are not real Muslims!
-

Very much yes, BUT who is to say they will or would start an all out war with Iran?
They are not a big enough force that's for sure. Unfortunately I personally think they would probably start with Israel before they would go after Iran full force. They would and do probably go into territory that already has Sunnis in it. They take over the area and then get the Sunni population to join them. This is how they get the numbers to grow.

I've also yet to meet a pro Israel Kurd. The Assyrians seem to be pro Jewish for the most part, they are being slaughtered though in niniveh .

No such thing as Iraqi Christians. They are Assyrians.
-
Absolutely, on every level!
-
the only help we should give is rescuing the christians. then, the muslims can continue to kill other muslims- which they will.
-
It's good if ISIS fights Iran.
However, should ISIS win, they will take the nuclear bombs from Iran and use it much faster than Iran.
Then again, I highly doubt ISIS has an sense of expertise on the nuclear things..so maybe they'll blow themselves up.
-
I vote "other"
ISIS is an obama ally just like muslim brotherhood. US is not truly helping Kurds succeed in war. Just the usual weapons business. It is an industry and america is once again helping its own defense establishment and pet military companies
-
The Kurds don't sound like muslims at all. I think it's a good job to help them fighting ISIS.
-
weapons are great but you know what would help the Kurdi even more Ac 130 gunships and b 52's circling above like clock work, and forward air controllers imbedded with the kurdi to direct fire, Just a suggestion ;D

I voted "not sure". Because our long term goal is to have Israel rule from the Nile to the Euphrates as it says in the Bible. I am not sure if arming the Kurds makes that goal harder or easier.

In order to be able to do that, there would need to be a threat to war to Israel by Kurds. If the Kurds were still living there and at Israel's border, and that generation wanted nothing to do with them eg land money hay etc, I'm not quite sure we would be allowed by Gd to start a war if they came in peace. Or at least logically, I don't think in today's world that makes sense.
However, Gd has His ways of testing us. So He can take away free will from the Kurds, let's say, and then see if we follow His rules in an obligatory war.
If the kurds were a cananite nation, then I believe peace or no peace, Israel can drive them out. I have my doubts that is the case.

You should be aware Dr. Dan that Rabbi Meir Kahane does not limit the law of the 7 nations of Canaan to a certain genetic group (some of our great Rabbis limit the law to a certain genetic group, while I believe the majority do not). Rabbi Kahane believed for example that the Arabs of the land of Israel had Canaanite Status, regardless of who their genetic ancestors were.
In any case, if you believe that morally or pragmatically we would not be able to take any measures to gain control of the entire Nile to Euphrates region, while the peaceful Kurds are occupying the land this would be one of the reasons, why it might be better not to arm the Kurds, so that a more recognized enemy rules the territory, where good Jews would be feel more comfortable in taking away the land from them and removing the enemy.
You still could argue, that Israel is having trouble even handling one tiny enemy, the Hamas in Gaza and its asking too much of the current failed leadership to deal properly with an ISIS takeover in Iraq, so it is better to bog Iraq down in a civil war with well armed Kurds, so that Hamas won't have a strong ally.

I think America should not intervene directly on the ground. America can give them the weapons they need (hopefully mustard gas, to give them the suffering they deserve before their arrival in Hell). I don't think there should be direct intervention, however. ISIS shows the true hideous, revolting face of Islam to the point that numerous volunteers will help join the Peshmerga and Assyrian Defence Force. Maybe even Ukrainians will send some of our famous "boyovyky", the same who helped the Serbs in the Balkans, to greet Allah's warriors in northern Iraq ;D
But I also think it depends on who the West aids. I would not want the aid to end up helping Saudi, Iranian, Russian, or local Communist proxies. The Kurds have the PKK which is communist, as well as the KDU (Kurdish Democratic Union) both of which also support "Palestine". I will look up various Kurdish and Christian parties to see where they stand. But on the other hand I think Kurdish people as a whole support Israel, and I don't think innocent civilians deserve to die no matter their political ideology.
