Title: Montreal Sukkot debate. Seriously?
Post by: Tag-MehirTzedek on November 05, 2014, 10:53:40 PM
They are fighting about having the Sukkot. Seriously? Why would a Sukkah actually be a problem for anyone especially because and when Jews live mostly among themselves as well (that's religious Jews).

Every time a dog barks there's some Qwebayker here to cry "Jew". Outremont is French and so the Jews there get complained about. Ironically, that's the area of Satmar and the likes, so there's some poetic justice that I can smell here, but am missing.

This news report is disturbing though, almost as much as trying to consider what possessed you to post that video. http://montreal.ctvnews.ca/jewish-holiday-of-sukkot-causing-strife-in-outremont-1.2078783

Basically, they're complaining that people building huts in their yard is causing massive distress, and by the comments, it's obvious it has nothing to do with their liberal sensitivities of the "environment" or "opressive religion". They can poke clitorises with a needle to make muslims happy, but allowing Jews to have a hut on their yard for an extra day, as the politician said "where would that lead to?". The dread. We might even start reading in it. This has nothing to do with logic, but the reason why the Satmar sukkah disturbed the goyim and not everyone else's is an unknown matter of some small interest to me.
