Unfortunately Israelis are notorious for not cleaning up after their dogs & let their dogs crap wherever it lands.
Having said that how can one wear tefilin if there is doggy doo wherever you go in Jerusalem?
It is disgusting that chiloni dog owners have turned the holy city in a toilet for dogs!!!!

I'd take defilement by dogs over defilement by human-camel hybrids any day.

I don't recall there is a dog poo problem in the Jewish quarter (although it should be called the Jewish eighth).

Try Mekaz HaIr,Nachlaot & all points to Malcha
Not the old city as much as the new city/West Jerusalem.
Trt walking a few meters in Katamon without getting doggy doo on your shoes unless your eyes are glued to the pavement at all times.

I used to live in Nachlaot 10 years ago. There was no dog poo problem there, but there is some cat poo though. There streets there have very little spots with exposed earth where cats would normally do their business. Same thing goes for the old city.
