The interior ministry just made an out of court settlement with my lawyer today & I am now an official resident of Israel with all benefits except voting rights.
But that will come next year Bezrat Hashem!!!

May your victory help make a victory for Chaim as well. Your lawyer should get in with Chaim, him coming to Israel would be more advertising than the fb was.

What a disgrace that the Misrad Hapnim harried a good Jew from pillar-to-post for 9 years before giving you Citizenship, whilst doling out ID cards like confetti to every uncircumcised non-Jewish Nog and Slav who wanted one
It is worth becoming Israeli for the medical services alone, let alone the generous $$$ and housing that they give for the first few years of an Aliya!

Yes I was going to vote blank anyway, but that's for next year when I get full citizenship.
What I have now is the Israeli equivilant of a green card.
But good enough for now as long as I have kupat cholim what do I care about voting especially when there is no one worth voting for.!!!
I have a feeling that this was done out of court because the misrad hapnim feared a lawsuit.
