Despite the attempts to conscript the Haredim, who could make good soldiers, to the Israeli TPTB the spectre of Haredim with military skills is a thought that doesn't even bear thinking about!

I'm afraid they should be FORCED. Convincing won't work.

Too many Jews have had it drilled into their heads that fighting is not Jewish.
