Maybe, but Chaim was not imprisoned for his beliefs. Rather it was because of his action...

Yes, he's talking about me. I know Rabbi Mizrachi and have attended his lectures. He is a very good Jew.

Chaim has stated in Hebrew that he is banned from Israel solely because of his views. The Bolshevik government uses his past actions as an excuse. In the US, you can't be imprisoned for your views. In Israel, you can be imprisoned for free speech without even being charged with a crime.

close to 2 hours he only recommends to vote for religious parties over secular ones..not because the religious parties are good...but that the secular parties are worse and the religious ones are simply bad, but still do some good.

He has a point there....

I wouldn't vote Shas or UTJ. Not over even Likud. Would probably vote for Yachad or the Bayit Yehudi as less worse than the others.
Rav Bar-Hayim just announced he is voting for Bayit Yehudi

Moshe Cohen

"In response to a question regarding for whom he intends to vote the head of Machon Shilo, Rabbi David Bar-Hayim responded that he intends to vote for Bayit Yehudi."
