Title: Dr Dentist: sodium fluoride on ebay?
Post by: angryChineseKahanist on April 27, 2015, 10:05:05 PM
Dr. Dentist, is it ok to use sodium fluoride found on ebay?
There's stuff thats 99.99998% pure. Some are marked 'high purity'.

Toothpaste contains 1450 ppm fluoride which is  0.312%. Ingestion safety level is much lower I think less then 1 ppm. If you try to prepare a DiY therapy you risk messing up because it is hard to measure exactly low concentrations of active substances. Also you need to make sure it is medicinal grade material and how can you be certain when you source it from some ebay merchant?
