I'm guessing that the Turkish Hitler (or Obama), PM Nazip Erdogan, and his goons had something to do with this. Erdogan is a tyrant on the level of Putin and he has Sh*tlam to legitimize him in the eyes of the world.

Also look at the rhetoric the BBC is using to characterize the environment where this girl was shot. "Conservative area" of Turkey? The word "conservative" was not employed by accident.

Yes, obviously they were trying to imply that all who subscribe to conservative values want to shoot women in the head. The BBC is especially guilty of using language in a form of double-speak. As Orwell in his epic work '1984' pointed out, those who control the language can control the populace.

Is there a liberal area in Turkey where it would have been unlikely that she would have gotten shot?  I doubt it. 

Or was the point they were trying to make analogous to certain conservative areas in America where wealthy Blacks live who would never riot like they did in Baltimore?
