I understand your frustration at the person's negative comments towards the news page. I visit it and it's great. That was the time to show strength and be all like "whatever i have an awesome news page everyone who sees it likes it" instead of get angry and show weakness...

Oh and I thought about it, and I assure you that I am aware of how stupid this seems, but there is a difference between JTF news and the blaze and such sites. You put the quoted articles in like a darker section everyone knows refers to a quote. That's what Daniel Greenfield does in his blog posts or short commentaries. Blaze just puts it as is, and then writes "read more at [link]", so you think that they really wrote it most of the time, and it's not like the majority of people read to the end of the article. Put the article without darkened spaces, and it will get rid of that little psychological hang-up. Don't even bother putting it in quotes, and feel free to add your commentary wherever you please, will make it even more authentic looking.

Personally I like it as it, but that news is what this forum should be, it's politics, you're catering to mostly dumb people, and self-obsessed people who need fluff to feel special. I could make this sound 100x more derogatory if I explained what I mean, but you can't really blame people (http://sultanknish.blogspot.ca/2014/06/our-consensus-rulers.html) so just do that and the panties will unbunch.

OK, awesome with the news page, real organic feel, make people post articles places now, it's easy to get hooked to a news site of this quality and you're doing your readers a solid.

Last problem is that the link to the source is just there, which is sort of unprofessional. Write "Read more:" or "More:" or "More at:" or something. Can't just post the link like that without a description of what it is. Besides that, awesome keep it up.
