Some employee chimped out at a pizza hut in Israel.

There is a Pizza Hut in Israel?  I thought that pizza isn't kosher?

Are you serious? Why isn't pizza kosher? As long as it's made with kosher ingredients and not meat with cheese, it's kosher. The cheese has to be kosher. KFC and Pizza Hut are owned by the same company and the mall in Jerusalem had the two next door to each other with a glass partition separating the two restaurants since one was meat and the other dairy. Now there are no more KFC branches in Israel other than the Muslim ones in lands under PLO/Hamas Arab Muslim Nazi occupation.

Also, just because a restaurant is in Israel doesn't make it kosher. There are also non-kosher restaurants in Israel so I don't know why you are surprised that there are American chains in Israel.

You don't have to go to Israel to get kosher pizza. They have it in the US also.

There are also frozen pizzas available in the kosher section of many American supermarkets.

I've had kosher pizza.  doesn't taste any different,  just cost more.
I go to a restaurant where I can see out the window two pizza joints right next to each other. One is kosher.
They just look funny next to each other.
