Title: An analysis of the shtokavian dialect
Post by: Hrvatski Noahid on August 14, 2019, 12:01:43 PM
The shtokavian dialect is the basis of standard Croatian and standard Serbian.

Sounds: at the end of a syllable l becomes o (dal-dao). Čr becomes cr (crven). U replaced the preposition v.

Forms: the plural dative, locative and instrumental cases are the same (jelenima). The plural genitive has the ending -a (junaka).

Pronunciations: jekavian (dijete), ekavian (dete) and ikavian (dite).
