Perhaps the word of Chaim and JTF is starting to resonate in Israel.

Call me cynical, but why is Netanyahu supposedly beginning this campaign to help Palestinians leave Gaza only now?? Is it because elections are near? Perhaps he's trying to deflate Feiglin's optimal plan of population transfer as not something only Feiglin can accomplish.

As long as they leave it doesn't matter who expels them.

We'll see what happens. I have my doubts it will be effective since the article states Israel is only paying transportation costs to permanently leave, and not a larger stipend for permanently leaving, as Feiglin is proposing. Money talks.

A few Arabs leaving Gaza won't make a difference. It's a very small area with a large population. Arabs in Judea and Samaria living between Jewish population centers and Israeli Arabs taking over the Galilee and Negev are more of a threat. There are over a million Arabs in Gaza which can be compared to the island of Manhattan. I think Gush Katif could be comparable to the size of Central Park. It's like if the Jews in New York lived in Central Park and the affirmative people made the rest of the island into Harlem.
