Title: Liberal NY Orthodox synagogue to stop announcing LGBT weddings after complaints

Because they are a OU members & the OU told them either cease & desist immediately or be expelled from the OU also they were given 3 years to get rid of their maharat/Rabbah or get expelled!!!!

They so far do not perform them they only made kiddushim in shul on Shabbos & announcements in their shul bulletin after a civil marriage in city hall. Weiss is pushing the envelope but he won't go against something d'oraisa like reform & the grossly misnamed "conservative" do at least not yet!!!!
