Huckabee's Immigration Proposals
« on: December 07, 2007, 01:13:41 PM »

Like all the Republican candidates, Mike Huckabee is trying to sound tough on illegal immigration. Do I trust him on this issue? No. Do I believe that he might be forced by the Republican base to adopt tougher policies against illegal aliens? Yes. I think his proposals in this campaign are proof of how the Republican base is forcing Republican candidates to move to the right on this issue. And that pressure from the Republican base will continue even after the election.

Here are Huckabee's proposals:

The US is lucky that voting is not compulsary. The fact that conservatives may stay home in November may force these phonies to make that move to the right.

Chaim, Mike Huckabee is a FRAUD on immigration, Israel, and all other issues. I will not be supporting him under any circumstances whatsoever. He is a clone of Bush.

I have the proof that as recently as January 2007, Huckabee was publicly supporting the Fagestinians.

OK, so who do you propose? Hunter or Tancredo? I would agree with you, but most of the voters in the US don't even know about them so their chances are minimal at best... Give me a better candidate and I'll buy it!

If conservatives voted for people they liked instead of worrying about getting an "electable" candidate into office, we would not have these problems.

CF, I disagree with you that Huckabee is lying on Israel. I know what he wrote in his book about the need to be humane to the Arab Muslim Nazis who call them themselves "Pal-estinians", and of course, it's disgusting. But even in that quote, he wrote about the "divine right" of the Jews to reclaim their land. Huckabee's position has always been that he favors creating a "Pal-estine" state outside of Israel on land that is currently controlled by the Arab Muslim Nazi nations. He is against tiny Israel surrendering land. His "humane" solution is to create such a state outside of the land that Israel currently controls. Because as he wrote in his book, he believes that the Jews have a "divine right" to Judea and Samaria. Now his "solution" is idiotic because there are no "Pal-estinians". And the Arabs will never accept his "solution" because the whole point of their demanding another independent state is to take the land away from the Jewish "infidels". But the bottom line is that Huckabee believes the land belongs to the Jews by divine right and he opposes any retreats. If he sticks by that position, it would be the first time ever that an American president would support Israel's right to Judea, Samaria, the Golan Heights and Jerusalem. Of course, if elected, he will come under enormous pressure to change his stand. That's why we have to support him now so that if he's elected we can counterpressure him NOT to change by reminding him that we played a role in his election. Once in office, he will certainly want to get re-elected in 2012.

On immigration, I do think he's a phony with a bad record. But his latest immigration proposals are better than those of Romney or Giuliani or McCain. Huckabee knows that his constituency wants tough action on illegal immigration. His latest proposals prove that he is subject to political pressure, and we must keep that pressure on him if he is elected. He knows that if he proposes amnesty like Bush and McCain have done, there will be an enormous political backlash.

As far as Hunter and Tancredo are concerned, I believe that in about a month they both will be withdrawing from this race after being beaten badly in Iowa and New Hampshire. By the time the February 5 "Super Tuesday" primaries are held in California, New York and 20 other states, Hunter and Tancredo will no longer be candidates, in my opinion. CF, I am almost sure that you will not get a chance to vote for them. Tancredo wants to run for the Senate in Colorado in 2010, and Hunter will pull out if he does not do well in next door Nevada on January 19. By February 5, when you and I will be voting in our states, I can almost guarantee you that these two guys will be out of the race.

CF, we disagree on the question of whether to support Huckabee, but I deeply respect your views. Our disagreement will be only temporary. Why? Because if Huckabee loses the Republican nomination, then we will not be supporting him after all. If he wins the nomination, then I think we have an almost unanimous consensus in JTF that we have to support the Republican nominee against Clinton or Obama. So either way, win or lose, I believe that our movement will be united once the Republican nominee is selected, and that should happen by February 5 when 22 states will hold primaries and caucuses all on the same day.

Absolutely Agree!
As an ordained Christian minister Huckabee has certain values that make him a bit Soft on issues like illegal immigration and the expelling of Arabs in Israel without any compensation, 'it wouldn't be Christian of him'... I believe he's doing his best not to stray form his beliefs.
That's why I think he is worth supporting!

C.F.  I think if Huckabee is nominated we better support him and vote for him.  Cause last thing we all need is for Hillary or Obama to get a free ride to the White house. Hunter or Tancredo is just wishful thinking.  But unrealistic.

I don't think Huckabee is lying about his positions on Israel what good would it do him. Israel is not a key issue for most people here in America and this issue will not bring him many votes one way or another. The key issues that will stick in people's minds for the primary vote is his stand on immigration and spending. On them issue's  Huckabee is really no worse than any of the others. We have a little more time before before the primaries start so lets hope that Huckabee proves to Republicans that his positions on things are honest ones. In the general elections G-d willing he gets to run he will have even a tougher audience to please so whatever he says now he will need to be prepared to stand behind his promises.

I don't think he is lying about Israel either.  And in all fairness no politician is taking a full stance on this.  None that are contenders.  We have to come to the idea we have no choice on supporting the Republican in this one.  C.F., in all fairness to you we better do this.  Hillary will try every dirty tactic to win as she tried to send her Homosexual friends to the GOP debate.   So we must do everything possible to stop the Democrats from winning (legally of course).

Chaim, if Huckabee wins the GOP nomination, then obviously I will have no choice but to hold my nose.

If it comes down to Huckabee, Romney, and Giuliani, I have no idea who I will vote for--maybe Giuliani. Even that worthless liberal does not disgust me as much as Huckster.

You know I think Huckabee will come around. And Huckabee is a true conservative if he does come around then He will be great on each and every issue. I just hope that conservatives aren't turned off by his fair tax proposal I like it but some hate it.

Huckabee said he'll be against people having dual-citizenships.

Would JTF support the idea of the small number of Jews who have citizenship in both countries giving up one of them?

There needs to be a movement to de-whimpify christianity in the west.

Sympathy can go in many directions. It's mostly Bible believing Christians who support Israel in the United States, for example. I think the problem is that people haven't really come to understand that the Palescum are true evil yet. Thankfully some reports do come through.

I watched a documentary which tried to portray the Palescum as an oppressed "people", and tried to gain sympathy for them from Americans. One part of it included a Palescum female saying something about "We all want to be martyrs, every single one of us." By martyrs, of course, she meant homicide bombers. The documentary slipped up, it was trying to portray her as a desperate woman who saw no other way to fight for her "human rights". Instead, it revealed a sick, evil, piece of scum revealing that "all" of the Palescum are sick, evil pieces of scum, every last one of them.

More shows like that are needed that expose the true evil there. Maybe if there were more shows like that, some of the "whimp" will wear off as American Christians realize how utterly evil and corrupt the Palescum are.

I can hope anyway.

That's not the problem.

They know full-well the evil of the arabs.

The problem is some (not all) christians believing they have to show 'love and mercy' to EVERYBODY inluding terrorists and child mollesters.
