In 2002, Obama voted against the following bill in the Illinois State Senate:

A part of the Born Alive Infant Protection Package. Would
create a cause of action if a child is born alive after an abortion
and the child is then neglected through failure to provide
medial care after birth.

He also voted against a bill that would have cut state-funding in Illionis for partial-birth abortions--the bill allowed for exceptions such as in cases of rape, incest, or health of the mother.  Keep in mind that if there was a pregnancy as a result of a rape or incest and if the woman wanted an abortion, it's doubtful that she would wait until the trimester.   So there are few scenarios for when there should be a partial-birth abortion.

Obama's voting record in the Illinois State Senate was awful and in the US Senate last year, he was ranked as the most liberal.

For him to claim that "moderates" should want to vote for him is fraudulent.
