Obama hinted he was a muslim

Today on the HNN network the affiliate of CNN  Obama told people when he was growing up in Malaysia his mother woke him up everyday at 4:00 A.m. to ''Study '' when they asked him what he studied he was hesitant to answer he replied the Usually why aren't people picking up on this stuff ?

I know people listen to what he says but why cant they see that he is a Muslim  how come they dont want to open there eyes
