Well, I don't want this to seem contrary to the board, but Barack Hussein Obama has made a plea for the Serbia vote and it seems many Serbians in the USA will now give their support to Barack Obama.  Obama lives in Illinois, home to a very large Serbian population.  He said he shares with the suffering of the Serbs and believes Kosova should also be shared by both Serbs and Albanians.  He brougth great anger to many Albanians and Kosovans, and is now rallying great support from Serbian population.  Now that Obama is winning the hearts of many serbians, as well aligning themselves with the Jew hating Russians, will the Serbs still be our pro-Israel allies?  I am thinking that anti-Israel sentiment will be strong amongst Serbs if they will go along with the Obama campaign, are they blind to this racist snake oil salesman, who guarantees change in a bottle for a dime, yet who cannot even probably change a lightbulb.

I understand your concerns and fears about Obama trying to buy the Serbian-American vote by doing a Bush 2004 re-election campaign redux.Remember, Bush did the same thing back in 2004, by getting John Bolton to publicly announce on the news media that the evil, corrupt US/NATO/George Soros/Corporate America funded Hague ICTY inquisition for the Serbs (aka "UN War Crimes Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia") should be shut down.

Many Serbian Americans fell for Bush's deception hook,line and sinker -and it was obvious why - considering how terribly evil and despicable John Kerry's pro-Albanian Muslim Nazi position was.

So it was a case of "the lesser of two evils" back in 2004 - the same trap that many so-called "conservative" American Jews are falling for hook, line and sinker this time around by backing the evil, despicable, Israel/Jew-hating and Serbia/Serb-hating repulsive fascist-Nazi supporter of Albanian Muslim Nazis - John McCain.

I am in daily contact with many Serbs in the diaspora -especially those in Canada and the United States - and judging by the feedback I have received, this time around I do not believe that Serbian Americans will be as easily fooled by Obama's smooth talk as they were fooled by Bush's and Bolton's smooth talk back in 2004.

The only Serbs that will support Obama are those so-called "liberal" pro-EU,pro-NATO, pro-Washington establishment elite supporting traitorous fifth columnists that voted for the Washington paid for establishment Serbian ruling elite - led by Boris Tadic.

In Israel we have the same type of ruling establishment elite kowtowing to Bush, Rice and the Arabist pro-Muslim Nazi State Department. We know tham as the Olmert, Livni and Barak left wing/liberal traitors and the fake "right wing" establishment traitors (Sharon,Netanyahu) who sold out Israel to the Hamas,Fatah/PLO Muslim Nazis with their support for the Bush "Road Map", the Gaza withdrawal and the support for a Palestinian Jihadist Islamist Fascist State - pushed for by Bush, Rice and McCain .

Sorry, I haven't been to the site in a while....

As one of the many Serbs who voted for Bush in 2004, I too feel betrayed. However, you know what they say "pick the less of the two evils." In November 2008, I will definitely be voting for a third pary, most probably Libretarian party (for those who don't know, it is not the same as Liberal/Democratic).
Libretarian party is very similiar in the politics/social issues seen on tv in shows like "South Park." In that sense, much more open to the truth based on facts.
I had people ask me why I would vote for them because I am wasting my vote by not voting republican/democrat. The point is that I deeply believe in voting rights, and at the same time, giving my vote to R's or D's would be betraying my own social beliefs....or the usual "they won't win anyway". The only way that I would vote for R's is if Ron Paul was their candidate, but unfortunatelly, he isn't.

Anyway, Obama definitely is not pro-Serb, or for that fact pro-israeli. There is no doubt about that. If anything, he is pro $$$oil. Just as someone mentioned before me, he is just trying to get the votes especially from Illionis where there is a large Serbian community and he will do the same with the Jewish community across the country. I have been telling everyone to vote third party. Obama is as pro-serbian as much as that Iranian a/hole is pro-christian. Obviously, it doesn't make any sense for anyone who can see through his or for that fact any politican's lies. Remember, politician first has to be a crook and a liar before he can be a politician. Any honest politicians would not get enough financial or personal support exactly because of that. If all US citizens really knew all the b/s that these so-called civil servants do, they would never support them. I am sorry to say, but although majority of US citizens are good and decent people, they are not well educated (thanx to the horrible public schooling) to know what really goes behind the scenes in US Congress.

When I talk to some of my young first-time voting relatives in Serbia about the politics in Serbia, their first opinion is that Tadic is the only way to EU. What a surprise that when they tell me that Obama is the way that all Serbs in US should vote. Same [censored], different package. It makes me sick to my stomach.

I just hope that any 3rd/Independent party gets more votes every election so that those running this great nation of United States will start thinking twice because almost nothing ever gets resolved, just keeps getting worse as the time goes by. I have no doubt in that.

To conclude, Obama or McCain are both pro-muslim and none of us who know better should vote for either of these a/holes.

Senator Barack Obama today released the following statement on the independence of Kosovo and its implications for Serbia...

Today’s announcement of independence by the leadership of Kosovo ends a chain of events that began with the bloody break-up of the former Yugoslavia.  Kosovo’s independence is a unique situation resulting from the irreparable rupture Slobodan Milosevic’s actions caused; it is in no way a precedent for anyone else in the region or around the world.

Kosovo’s independence carries with it important responsibilities. The international community has devoted enormous resources to Kosovo’s political, economic and social development for nearly a decade, with results not always meeting expectations. I hope that Kosovo’s government and people act with urgency to ensure that Kosovo becomes a positive example of democratic governance and the rule of law.  All the people of Kosovo, be they of Albanian, Serb or other origin, must be able to live in a free, tolerant and prosperous society where minority rights and religious sites are fully protected, and the people of Kosovo have a stake in one another’s success.

Serbia and its people have also suffered terribly over the past two decades. Serbs deserve a more peaceful, prosperous, and hopeful future.  This month’s re-election of President Boris Tadic was a critical step in moving Serbia closer to the goal of full integration into the democratic West, including membership in Euro-Atlantic institutions that can help bring more stability and prosperity to the people of Serbia.  Serbia ultimately belongs in the European Union. The EU and Serbia should rapidly deepen their ties, a move that would help demonstrate to the Serb people that they are indeed genuinely part of the West.

I honor the service of all Americans, military and civilian, who have worked so hard to bring peace to the Balkans. The United States must continue to work with our European allies on behalf of the security and prosperity of the entire region.
