The Bill of Rights does not give us rights. The Declaration of Independence recognized that, saying, "...that [people] are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights..." The Bill of Rights prohibits the government from infringing on those rights; see the Second Amendment for those words.
Congress and the liberals on the SCOTUS have ignored the Constitution. Conservatives now have an opportunity to see that conservatives are appointed to the court. Said another way, we'd better get on the ball and prevent Hussein Zerobama from nominating Marxists. This is the real reason we will have to hold our noses and vote for McLame.
