The gay thing
« on: August 06, 2008, 12:21:03 AM »
I have two basic reasons for disapproving of homosexuals.  First, I wouldn't want my children to be exposed to that type of lifestyle and that type of mentality.  I think there is no doubt that there are some people who are gay because they have emulated people they admired who happened to be gay.  Also, I don't like liberals and the gay segment of the population is militantly left wing.

Aside from those two issues, I have trouble understanding the hysterical vitriol directed at gays by some of the contributors to the forum.  I mean really, comparing gays to muslims?  The gays could not plunge the world into another dark age like the muslims can and are trying to do.  Can someone explain to me where all of this hatred is coming from?

I've worked with quite a few homosexual men and women over the years, had conversations with them, gone home and still managed to raise two decent children to adulthood.  They did not affect me, because I am comfortable with my own way of life.  I do not agree with all of this fear and loathing of gay people.  I honestly feel sorry for a lot of them.  They seem to be generally very unhappy people.

I remember one interview in which Rabbi Kahane was asked "what would you do with the gay people?"  The Rabbi said, "I would try to educate them".  Can somebody explain to me if my attitude is wrong and why?

Zachor,

It is fine if that is your experience. But I am innundated with it here in the san francisco bay area. They dont just want to live their lifestyle, they want to PROVE TO US that we are wrong and their lifestyle is right. They will sell it in the media, and if you watch TV you cant help but be exposed to their failed ideology. There is a gay agenda going on and you can ignore it if you get far away from the cities, but they are trying to teach homosexuality in the schools here in San Francisco. Teachers must be careful lest they say something which may be unacceptable to a gay lifestyle, or lose your job. Churches are being sued because the Bible says being gay is a sin. They are actively trying to destroy our culture. In my opinion that makes the organization of gay politics my enemy.

Another part of the political agenda of the homosexual movement is the ability to teach homosexuality in public schools, the ability to get a license from the state to marry, to adopt children, and to be counselors of youth groups.

"Of all the advances of the homosexual agenda, perhaps none is more disturbing than the penetration of the nation's schools with messages and programs designed to teach homosexuality as normative. In recent years, homosexual advocates have injected pro-homosexuality discussions into early grade classrooms . including kindergarten . in the name of . tolerance. and . diversity.. In middle school and high school, youngsters are being encouraged to . come out. as . gay,. . lesbian,. . bisexual. or even . transgender. through pro-homosexuality school clubs. Meanwhile, activist teachers are incorporating homosexuality-affirming lessons in curricula and defending their . right. to be openly homosexual in the classroom . regardless of parental opposition."

There are many examples out there on how they are planning of selling the homo agenda to America. It is going to get worse...

Gays are not a community or an association, they are just people who share a similar behaviour or inclination (Homosexuality). It's not fair to blame them of indoctrinating others, just because some of them, with the help of leftists straights want to teach. You can dissaprove their behaviour as sinfull, but you cannot not blame them all for what some do.
Most of these pro-gay lobbists are straight laftists who support parades desecrating Jerusalem and criticise Torah as discriminatory, but have no problem with Muslims executing gays and women who don't cover their faces.

Good points. I have expressed my personal beliefs in previous messages. I dont think any standard Jewish understanding would condone killing them or denying them dignity. This is something which Judaism and Christianity differ. Violating the command of sexual purity is no more damning than violating the laws of vows and oaths or adultery.

My initial reaction to the poll was that both of them pose a real spiritual threat. I dont know if anyone here is familiar with the movie Rocky Horror Picture Show {RHPS}. The allure of free and guiltless sex is very strong. This is why these ideas, free love and homosexual rights are born out of the hippies of the 60s. I have grown to realize the great evil inclination embodied in internet pornography. I know many people think that an interest in this is harmless, yet all the great sages and rabbis say that sexual impurity is wrong. I will leave it here because I dont want to sound like a puritan, which I am nothing like...

that's precisely what we should be doing....with compassion.

there are some not worthy of that compassion such as the militantly inclinde homos and liberals who force you to have their opinions.
If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

Whatever homosexual perverts do behind closed doors is none of my business, just as long as they don't shove their perverted deathstyle down our throats, and just as long as our health insurance doesn't cover funny diseases contracted as a result of whatever it is that they do behind closed doors.

In thy power Almighty, trusting,
Did our fathers build of old;
Strengthen then, O Lord, their children
To defend, to love, to hold
That the heritage they gave us
For our children yet may be:
Bondsmen only to the Highest
And before the whole world free.
As our fathers trusted humbly,
Teach us, Lord, to trust Thee still:
Guard our land and guide our people
In Thy way to do Thy will.

The vast majority of people who are gay just want attention and are confused.  It's no different than someone wearing a mowhawk or going goth.  It's just become trendy to be gay.
