Olmert: 'Israel' most occupied land
« on: October 01, 2008, 08:45:40 PM »

Israel should withdraw from nearly all territory captured in the 1967 Middle East war in return for peace with the Palestinians and Syria, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was quoted on Monday as telling a newspaper.
"We wish we had heard this personal opinion ... (before) he resigned," said Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki. "It is a very important commitment but it came so late. We wish this commitment can be fulfilled by the (next) Israeli government."

If sanity prevails,   Smolmert will be convicted of treason.
"Israel's leaders seem to be more afraid of Obama than they are of G-d. Now we're getting to the real root of the problem. Secular politics won't save Israel. Denying the divine nature of the Jewish State has brought Israel neither stability nor peace. When that changes Israel will finally be blessed with both in abundance"-----------NormanF   ( Posted on Israel Matzav's Blog )

there was a significant moment, it happened when Ariel sharon was prime minister and olmert was vice president.

the israeli government decided to call it occupation.

On "BBC HardTalk" Olmert said  or agreed, to saying, that The Occupation Is Wrong and Untenable.

And just as predictable.. The BBC has an absolute field day.  I have never heard the word "occupation"  used so many times in sentences.  It was like they were releasing all these bottled up sentiments.

One cannot expect Britain or America to be more right wing than the israeli government. So the Israeli Government has to be more right wing!

At the time of the Gaza disengagement, I recall an American thinktank was against it saying something along the lines of,   it would be turned into terrorist ground .. used as a launching pad for missiles against israel. But the israeli government did it despite that.

He obviously want to be loved by the Jew-hating world, which unfortunately is most of the world.  It is truly pathetic.

There never has been "Peace".  Olmert and all his like should not be tried for treason but exterminated.  They are worse than Hizbollah.
"‘Vehorashtem/Numbers 33:53’: When you burn out the Land’s inhabitants, you will merit to bestow upon your children the Land as an inheritance. If you do not burn them out, then even if you conquer the Land, you will not merit to allot it to your children as an inheritance." - Ovadiah ben Yacov Sforno; Italian Rabbi, Biblical Commentator, Philosopher and Physician.  1475-1550.

It was not expected from an Ex-PM of Israel.
