Help me decide who to vote for
« on: October 11, 2008, 09:52:32 PM »
I received my absentee ballot today. I'm obviously voting for Palin and Tom Feeney, but am not sure about any of the other choices. If any one has any insight about any of the following, please let me know who you want me to vote for.

County Commisioner District 3 - Dick Van Der Weide  (Yes/No)

Justice Charles T Wells - Should he be retained (Yes/No)

Judge Kerry I. Evander - Should he be retained (Yes/No)

Judge C. Alan Lawson - Should he be retained (Yes/No)

Judge Richard B. Orfinger - This guy lists as a civic activity that he is the vice president of a Beth El. I'm probably going to say no to him.

Judge William David Palmer - Should he be retained (Yes/No)

Judge Thomas D. Sawaya - Should he be retained (Yes/No)

I initially marked no for Judge Orfinger, but then felt that it wasn't right to discriminate against a fellow Jew, even though he practices a perversion of our religion. I have no other information to go by and hope I made the right decision. Maybe I'll wait a week to ask Chaim.

Chaim convinced me to vote against Judge Orfinger.

I vote yes if they are republican or conservative.  I vote yes depending on their record against humans with violent crimes.  I vote yes if they are pro-Israel and anti-arab.
If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

But just belonging to the republican party alone does not make them good. We also have evil republicans and conservatives.
