I feel a need to post this, for the benefit of the observant Jews and observant Christians here, many of whom might not be old enough to have had parents who lived during WW2.
Do you realize that each and every one of us is a patriot? We are fighting for this country just as the Americans of the Greatest Generation did when they went off to Europe to stop Hitler.
We are not using guns but keyboards and votes; but our battle is just the same.
I remember my father (obm) telling me that the reason why we went to fight in Europe was to stop Hitler from eventually taking over America.
Hitler was conquering almost every European country, and they seemed to be falling under his control without much of a fight (except the Brits, in the Battle of Britain)....and frankly, those of my parents' generation did not know if they would win or not! Just as we do not know now whether we will.
But they fought on, and decided that defeat was not an option.
I have often said that that generation truly was the greatest...that generations since then could hardly measure up.
But if we succeed in stopping the Obamanation from conquering our country, we can then say that we have risen to the challenge and have proven that we are indeed, true patriots after all!
Carry on! We have only begun to fight!
