There was nothing funny about that Prince Harry wearing a nazi costume. Furthermore that British royal family is of German descent. So instead of being ironic, he was probably just expressing solidarity with his relatives.
I don't think the royal family are secret nazis. Phillip Duke Of Edinborough (Prince Phillip), the patriach. Harry's grandfather, is hilarious..
There was a jewish woman whose family ran a salt beef shop.. she wrote in the jewish chronicle that Prince Phillip asked her where she lived. She said a house overlooking the shop. He said "So do we"
There's another story I heard.. A rabbi from poland who when introduced to really important british/english people , he would make very cheeky comments to them, and normally they couldn't respond. He loved what a wonderful tolerant country it is .. He saw Prince Phillip , (and probably pointed his finger!) and said "Vun of us has bin in zis country longer zan zee ozer". Phillip replied "And one of us hasn't lost his accent" !

To a British student in Papua New Guinea: "You managed not to get eaten then?"
"If it has four legs and is not a chair, has wings and is not an aeroplane, or swims and is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat it." (1986)
At the height of the recession in 1981 he said: "Everybody was saying we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are unemployed."
What do you gargle with - pebbles? (1969)

If you see a man opening a car door for a woman, it means one of two things: it's either a new woman or a new car!
