It was great meeting Chaim, Davide Ben Moshe, Ashe Dina in person, and of course Dan Jasmina, Italian Zionist, Bullcat3 and CJD who I met before. I think this should be regular kind of thing. It's great to meet the faces behind the user names. So please let me know how often I should have these.

Every month might be too hard to arrange. I think every other, or every third, month might be better.

I think once a month, even if only one or two people were to show up, it would be worth it.

Also, if someone didn't make one month, they could come the next, etc. In other words, it is a solid thing.

I think once a month would be a great thing. I would try to make every meeting I could. Don't get me wrong.
It was wonderful meeting Chaim, AsheDina, David and New Yorker. It was good to see Lisa, Dan, Jasmina, and Italian Zionist again. I'm sorry we missed seeing Vito. I hope DWI is feeling ok.
I just think every other month or so might be more realistic. Thanks again Lisa for motivating and arranging for us to meet.

Absolutely once a month! Granted, not everyone will be able to make it, but at least it can turn into something solid!

One month there might be a few people and the next month there might be 25 people, you just never know.

It was exactly the same thing that goes on in this forum, but in the REAL world and on a personal level, we all met up at a Kosher Chinese restaurant, had discussions and opinions about the state of our world and how to improve it, with lots of laughs, all this across the table over Kosher Chinese food.

Everybody way over paid on the bill, even with tip included, David and Chaim asked if we'd all like some of our money back, but instead we had a quick vote and decided that the surplus should go to JTF as a donation.

This was OUR idea, Chaim and David never asked us to make a donation, and asked repeatedly if we'd like the difference back, but we all insisted.

We should shoot for once a month and take it form there... our goals will be met much quicker this way.
Our monthly meetings could bring new ideas and boost morale among our members. Whatta you say?!

I think I should have these get togethers once a month. We should shoot for something like the first Tuesday or Wednesday of the month, or something like that. I'll put up another poll asking people what they think the best location will be.

I really want to come to one of the get-togethers, my problem is, I'm not in NYC but I am about 2 hours away by bus or train.

I'd have to know well in advance so I can plan; I might bring my older daughter too!

Would it be on Sunday? That is the only day I could make it, due to my other responsibilities and travel time. I used to have a friend in Boro Park who I could stay with, but unfortunately she passed away a few years ago.

I'm going to be in town for Memorial Day and the Israel Day Parade I really want to have some sort of meetup the the Parade and a sitdown lunch or dinner after the event.
