If voted to power BJP will send troops to Pak

Gaya (Bihar), Apr 13 (PTI) Striking an aggressive posture, BJP president Rajnath Singh today said if his party is voted to power then India would send troops to Pakistan to crush terrorism in the neighbouring country after taking international approval.
"If voted to power, the BJP government will ask Pakistan if it needs support of the Indian army to crush terrorism. If Islamabad is agreeable, it is all right. If not, our government will approach the global community for its endorsement to send the Indian Army to Pakistan," he told an election meeting at Airu village here.

"However, we will like Pakistan to first use its might to stamp out terrorism and dismantle all terror networks operating from its territory," Singh said.

Accusing the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre of having failed to effectively check terrorism, the BJP president said terror strikes in Mumbai and elsewhere in the country bore a 'testimony' to it.

The Manmohan Singh government has failed to instil a sense of confidence in the people about internal security of the nation, he charged.

Reaffirming BJP's 'irrevocable commitment' to protect its frontiers and providing security to the people, Singh said, "Pokhran- II and the victory in the Kargil war are two shining examples of our commitment to internal and external security." "National security is under severest threat ever. In the 50 years of Congress rule, not only the security aspect has been compromised, but unemployment has increased manifold and prices of essential commodities have spiralled out of control," he said.

Campaigning for his party candidates in several cities across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi skipped the Ram Mandir issue and said US President is the “mai-baap” of the UPA.

Modi, who was greeted by supporters with the chant of “Jai Shree Ram”, maintained silence on the temple issue even at the rallies in Faizabad and Shrawasti.

Addressing a gathering in support of the BJP candidates from Phoolpur and Allahabad at Seva Samiti ground in Allahabad on Sunday, Modi said: “The UPA government is acting like a news agency, telling people about the infiltration of terrorists into India. The Mumbai attackers were from Pakistan, but the UPA Government, instead of taking strong action against that country, was pleading before the US — O ba O ma (O mom, O dad)...,” said Modi, claiming that US President Obama is UPA’s “mai-baap”.

He also said the Congress plays “votebank politics” whereas the BJP believes in the “politics of development”. He asked the voters to choose among “the family-based Congress, the opportunist Third Front and the nationalist NDA”.

Giving example of his own state, he said, “UP mein bijli aana news hai jabki Gujarat main bijli jana (in UP, power supply makes news while in Gujarat, power cut is).”

“How can the people repose their faith in the Congress when its allies have left it? Similarly, the Third Front is an orphan. It is only the NDA which is still united even when we have not been in power for five years,” said Modi, while holding the Congress responsible for poverty, starvation, illiteracy and anti-national activities.

Can you explain what a “mai-baap” is and have you any idea, why this guy, would think Obama is this thing whatever it is?

Are you sure Mr Modi is saying that, because most people in Europe and prosperous parts of Asia like Taiwan can not figure Obama out, he contradicts himself and changes his story so much, so how come Indian people would? I think Mr Modi  is just  saying, he ( i.e. Obama ) is Congress' Daddy and if Daddy will not help them ( i.e. Congress ) they are in trouble?

Shri Rajnathji is a staunch nationalist and a longtime close family acquaintance of my relatives and he has rightly raised the issue of Indian military action against muslamic terrorism of Pap666.

However practically that day will never come when either the Papistan or the global community is going for endorsement of Indian Army action in Papistan. If America supports it, then Red Dragon China may oppose it and vice versa. Both agreeing commonly on this proposal may be a very remote possibility. So I think India may have to move only under duress and unilaterally against Pap666 muslamic Terrorism with whatsoever little global support it may be able to muster at that juncture of time including it certainly from Israel.
