Nobody of them.

God & Gabriel have never passed something written to Mohammed.

Mohammed himself was an analphabet. The Sira of Ibn Ishaq and the Hadith is here very clear.

So somebody else has written the quran.

No one has written it! It is just a collection of Mohammeds,'s preachings. When he died, his brother-in-law (one of them  :::D ) Uthman aksed people all over Arabia to bring him pieces of leather or stones with gravations of M.'s preaches or preaches written on paper. Then he let it be re-written, put into a specific order and bound it to a book, called "The Reading" - the quran.
The problem with this was, that he rewarded people bringing him preaches and some things were obviously not M.'s preachings leading to many contradictions in the whole collection.
Just as 3 versions of the story of the Creation of the World...  :::D

Quranimaniac tradition says that "Mohammud took a lil' rid into heaven with his horse ( I don't remember the name, maybe mister Ed ) from the Temple Mount. He rode from Mecca to J'lem in only one night and came back the same night with the Quran." This is the worst of all fairy tales - it is used from Muslims to claim J'lem a holy site for them, actually one of 3 holy sides with Mecca and Medina, and holy sites have to be kept "clean" from non-Muslims. You'll never see a non-Muslim touching the ground of Mecca or Medina - they have huge freeways making a detour around the cities only for the infidels.

I seem to recall Chaim saying that he (Mohammed) bought it from someone.
