What do you guys use to download music?

What program is good to download music? Free obviously.

RealPlayer. It downloads all internet video's. Just look for you song on zootube, livelink etc and download the video. It also comes with a mp3 converter. I use it almost everyday and it's free. I recommend everyone get it.

I havent d/l in a while, but when i did i used Soulseek. I liked it cause it is spyware/adware free, the others i used (limewire, Kazaa, etc) wrecked my comp.

I won't admit to anything  . I "heard" that Limewire and Kazaa were great,until they filled up with nothing but porn. Now if I want to listen to a song I usually go to Youtube.

I do the same. I just go to youtube or listen to the radio when I want to listen to music. I don't have an ipod.

Or... Just go to youtube and convert them to mp3 and videos to mp4s or mpeg files

There is a plugin in my firefox which allows me to download any video from youtube. It is called DownloadHelper... All you do is click the icon and it prompts to save to hard drive. I usually save the .flv or the .mp4 directly, then I can extract the mp3 if I want to burn to disc. On linux {it may be available on windows} I used avidemux for some of this, and 'mencoder' for other jobs.

Yeah, too complicated muman. I need something like kazaa, morpheus, limewire, or ares (which I had until they started charging. Bastards).

It costs money now. I had it too but then I installed a new harddrive and now i downloaded ares but it said it's only a search free version.
