http://action.afa.net/Blogs/BlogPost.aspx?id=2147493386China's godless and totalitarian government has no use for the Judeo-Christian tradition and its cultural mandate to "be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth." Nations as well as individuals must reap what they sow, and China is now beginning to reap the bitter fruit of its severe policy that parents are permitted to have just one child.
London's Daily Mail has a sobering story of the consequences of China's one-child policy. By mid-century, China will have 50 million more males than females because Chinese parents prize male children over female children and routinely abort female babies.
This has had lamentably predictable results: an increase in crime, the development of a criminal underclass, a rise in sex crimes, a rise in prostitution, a rise in sex trafficking, an increase in the number of mail order brides, and a rise even in homosexuality. All, of course, foreseeable by anyone with half a brain.
And there naturally and expectedly is an increase in the number of back alley abortion clinics, offering cheap, and in some cases, "painless" abortions to get rid of unborn and unwanted female babies. Aborting a male child is unheard of.
Another huge problem: the kidnapping of children. Parents must never let their lone child out of their sight, even out of their immediate presence, for even a moment. Boy children are kidnapped by childless parents looking for an heir, and girls are kidnapped to be kept on ice as a future bride for parents who can do the math.
There is a flourishing black market for stolen babies, and law enforcement officials turn a blind eye to the practice and are useless in recovering kidnapped children. There are no Amber Alerts in China. In fact, authorities won't even let parents post pictures of missing children for fear a growing awareness of the problem will disturb the population at large.
Here is the final paragraph from this alarming article:
"What lingers in the mind, in the midst of this surging economic and political titan with its dozens of vast, ultra-modern cities, its advanced plans to land men on the Moon, its utopian schemes to control population and its unstoppable power over the rest of the world, is the inconsolable misery of the bereft parents, the pinched squalor of the places where they must try to live a happy life, the jaunty wickedness of the cheap abortion clinics and the classrooms full of the ghosts of all those girls who were never born.
"Whatever we have been used to and thought of as normal is coming to an end."
