MIAMI – The United States' economy is "just like Argentina in its final days of thrashing around before the financial collapse," according to New York Times best-selling author Jerome Corsi, a senior staff writer for WND and a speaker at this weekend's "Taking America Back Conference" at the Doral Resort.
Addressing the worsening economic condition of the nation – aggravated by President Obama's billions of spending in stimulus funds, social programs and other factors – Corsi told the conference today that Obama is running the nation like a family using a MasterCard to pay the mortgage and Visa accounts.
And when that comes due, he said, Obama is saying, "I've got all these [credit] applications!"
Corsi, who also said that Obama should denounce both Lucifer and Islam, focused primarily on the economic conditions developing in the U.S.
"This is not a recession," he said. "This is NOT a recession. It's not a depression. This is what globalism looks like. This is the result of decades of the Democrats and GOP alike pursuing another Marxist dream.
"The bureaucrats will make sure the government employees will make twice what you do. The government salaries now are twice private employees'," he said. "But no government employee can be paid unless the money first is stolen from you."
He said the Obama administration already knows the nation effectively is bankrupt, and after the November election likely will insist on a plan to force individuals to buy government debt through their retirement accounts, and the creation of a Value Added Tax, a government surcharge that is added at each level of a product's manufacture and sale.
"Yesterday the Senate voted another $30 billion in stimulus," he warned. "They're like someone in the last throes of alcoholism. They're in the hospital. Doctors say 'your liver's gone. There's nothing we can do for you.' The patient says, 'That's fine. I'd just like a bottle of whiskey.'
"They are incapable of not spending your money. The best thing we can do with Congress is shut it down," he said.
But he said what is happening shouldn't be a surprise, because Obama simply is doing what he expressed a desire to do.
"This is not Bill Clinton," Corsi warned. "This is a trained, ideologically committed communist, trained by Frank Marshall Davis."
He cited Obama's links to Davis, who was a student of Saul Alinsky, whose book was dedicated to "Lucifer."
"OK, so we have someone in the White House who was a devotee of Saul Alinsky, who was a radical socialist who devotes his book to Lucifer. I'd like to hear Barack Obama renounce Lucifer. I haven't heard him do it."
"What I want to see," he continued. "is the birth certificate."
"I'm happy to believe Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. But since he's lied about so many things would it be OK if we saw the proof?"
