Paul, a Texas congressman, has said the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki on Yemeni soil amounts to an "assassination." Asked by a University of New Hampshire student Monday how he would hold Obama accountable, Paul said impeachment would be a possibility, but said he thinks nearly all past presidents could have been impeached for abusing the Constitution. He did say there should be an investigation into the killing and that he holds Obama responsible.
Al-Awlaki, considered one of the most influential al-Qaida operatives wanted by the U.S., was killed in a U.S. air strike targeting his convoy Friday morning.
