They say that in order for there to be democracy one day in the middle east, they must adopt a system that violently opposes it, in them as well as the rest of the world. It's like saying in order to increase the firepower and further the weaponry rights of Americans, they all need to become anti-gun activists. Then again, you are getting logic from people that believe women's rights is killing babies, cultural advancement is letting gays parade about in floaties before their marriage, and that safety is achieved by doing everything muslims, or whatever anyone else who wants you dead says.
