If Israel flops this war up like the last war with Hizbollah in 2006, the United States will look at Israel as an ally that can't pull it's weight.  And all of Israel's enemies will be emboldened to attack her harder and more frequently.

I have to admit, I don't have much faith that Israel will decisively win the next war, against anybody.  Not with the leaders Israel has.

The war Israel is excellent at is throwing women and children out of their homes in the dead of the night- to make way for an Arab state.

I think the US needs to stay out of Israel's affairs. Israel can take care of itself.

Israel could take care of it self in a short military action but would need outside support in a long term situation... I think the problem now is the fact that Israel is not going to get the military support from America that it has in the past and this may be the cause of the inaction.
