Happy New Year (L'Shana Tova)
« on: September 16, 2012, 10:12:00 AM »
Happy New Year to my Jewish friends and your families. Together the righteous Jews and Gentiles can save the world from the insidious islamist threat.

Shana Tova to you RighteousGentile74,

I am currently getting ready to spend the Rosh Hashanah Holiday with my Rabbi and my local minyan {congregation} and am looking forward to a great service, great food, and a great New Year.

I would like to extend my wishes to everyone that we have a New Year of Life, a New Year of Learning, and a New Year of Happiness. May all our enemies be lowered before our eyes, with Hashems help, and may our people be strengthened in their Jewish belief and their security in their home land.

Amen!
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Rosh Hahanah is the time we thank Hashem for everything which we experienced in the last year, and appreciate the good and the bad, which brings us to this coming year. May this year be only good...

Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach (Ztl) gives a talk about the message of Rosh Hashanah:

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

Shana Tova!
Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the horn, and the people be not warned, and the sword do come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
