The world claims that Mandela is a hero.  Not to me.  He was in prison for 27 years.  Then, he made anti Israel comments after he was released.

I guess if you kill, you are given prizes for contributions to "peace" unless you are white (In South Africa's case.) or Jewish (in Israel's case.) of if you conspire to make "peace" with them like de Klerk and Rabin/Peres.
