 Sorry Chaim I meant that Haredim clam that their Torah study protects the country and that's why they don't need to serve. My question was if this is true and they are in places in the south; since they are paid by the state should they be allowed to leave The area to the north or must they be made to remain in the south just like a soldier isn't allowed to leave his post during war.
