Some of the comments compared him to Rabbi Kahane. They think he was a victim of exposing the truth. I guess his most fervent supporters say his death was a conpiracy as well. He left Israel because he though the Shabak was targeting him.

I thought it was going to say he died of lung cancer being that he was a heavy smoker as Chaim can attest to. I met Barry Chamish once when he was selling his books at a Yesha Council rally agaisnt George Wahabi Bush's "Road Map". All of Jaffa Street was closed for the rally. Now you can't do that since the light rail took over the street. I remember he sold me a few books, a video of his lecture regarding the Rabin assassination, and copies of documents including Rabin's medical records and Amir's arrest records for 100 shekels.

The questions surrounding Rabin's death are far from 'silly':

Questions such as:

1) Rabin walking away totally unhurt from Yigal Amir's "shots", when in
fact he should have fallen as if poleaxed if he had really been shot in
the spine.

2) The absence of a single drop of blood at the scene, despite Rabin
having been hit in the vascular spleen and lung.

3) The "incompetence" of the twenty bodyguards attached to Rabin in
allowing Amir a clear "shot".

4) The shouting by the bodyguards of "blanks, blanks", "it's not real",
"it's only caps", and "it's only an exercise" immediately after the
shots were heard.

5) The total absence of any trace of metal particles or gun powder on
Amir's hands - an impossibility if he had fired real bullets, but
consistent with firing blanks.

6 ) How bodyguard Yoram Rubin really came to be shot in the elbow. How
Rabin's limousine had an unidentified fourth occupant. How Rabin's
chauffeur Menachem Damti took 22 minutes to travel the 600 yards to
Ichilov Hospital.

7) How the medical reports and Israeli Police forensics state that Rabin
was shot in the chest by three bullets fired point-blank, one being from the
front, not two fired at a distance from behind as claimed by the Shamgar
Commission, as well as numerous other ballistic inconsistencies and
evidence-tampering.

8 ) How the police report gives the serial number of Amir's Beretta as
D90555Y, when in fact it was D98321Y.

9) The mysterious "suicide" of Rabin bodyguard Yoav Kuriel by seven
bullets to the chest; Yigal Amir's service as a Shabak agent in Latvia;
the roles of Shabak agent-provocateur Avishai Raviv, the then head of
Shabak Carmi Gillon's presence in France at the time of the shooting and
in the month leading up to it, and of Eli Barak, head of its "Jewish
Department".

10) The role of Rabin's secretary Eitan Haber in clearing out Rabin's safe
immediately after the shooting and the theatrical public displaying of
the fake blood-soaked "Song of Peace" song sheet .

11) The release only after two months of the Kempler video, and of the
tamperings done to it etc etc
