Note that Wadi El Arish, labeled the "Brook of Egypt" on the map, lies about 50 miles to the west of Gaza, proving that all of present-day Israel, including the Gaza District, is well within the western border set for her by G-d in the Bible - even if that western border is indeed Wadi El Arish and not the Nile, which majority Talmudic opinion holds is the true western border of Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel).
