Husar......I am an aspiring rapper and I composed a song just 4 u:

So come on and chickity check yourself
Before you wreck yourself

You betta check yo self
Fore you wreck yo self
Cause anger is baf for your health
I come real stealth

Dropping bombs in your minds
Screw the car alarms

Sold it for six-o
Always let tricks know
And friends know
We got that indoe

Yo, I'm not a sucka
Sitting in a house of pain
And, no, I'm not the butler
I am the hustler

Merkava in the studio

The point of this song is that I am interested in what this person has to say. When I was small I was told that they don't like us Jewish boys in Serbia. Maybe its true, maybe its not. I checked that link.....it makes sense to me.

I will disprove it read the article the poster is a croat just read the rest of the article

Quote
Nearly all of Belgrade's 8,000 Jews were killed at Sajmiste soon after it was set up in 1941 at the site of the Belgrade Fair exhibition ground, Mosic said. Thousands of leftists and Serb nationalists also were killed at the camp.

What made Sajmiste unique was its location in clear view of Belgrade's residents, on the western bank of the Sava River.

The capital's downtown area is located on the eastern side of the Sava, about 200 yards from the prewar fair grounds. Since World War II, new Belgrade has spread across the river - and developers consider the Sajmiste site prime real estate.

"It was the only death camp in Europe which was so visible," said Mosic, 88, who wants to build a proper memorial to the victims of what he describes as "the forgotten concentration camp."

"The intention was to intimidate the Serb population by letting them see what was going on inside the camp," he said. "For our small nation, the Sajmiste camp was as horrendous as Dachau or Sachenhosen in Germany."

Most of the inmates were murdered while being transported in "gassing trucks" - vans with their exhaust pipes attached to the sealed cabin - to mass graves on Belgrade's outskirts.

Sajmiste, or Judenlager Zemlin as Germans used to call it, was eclipsed in size by Jasenovac, the biggest death camp on Yugoslav territory. About 20,000 Jews, in addition to tens of thousands of Serbs, Gypsies and Croatian anti-fascists, died in that camp run by Croatia's Nazi puppet regime, unlike Sajmiste which was directly under German command.

About a million Yugoslavs died in World War II, many of them Serbs who had joined a Communist-led uprising against the German occupation. Three-quarters of Yugoslavia's prewar Jewish population of 71,000 people also perished.

it was set up to scare the Serbs

"Bardzo prawdopodobne, że początek swego istnienia husarze zawdzięczają Serbom. Po klęsce na Kosowym Polu w roku 1389 wszędzie szukali okazji do pomsty na Turkach.
Jan Długosz zapisał pod rokiem 1463, że w bitwie nad Sawą bił się Cohors Raczanorum (oddział Raców - Serbów). Po śmierci króla Macieja Korwina Serbowie udali się do Polski, aby kontynuować walkę z Turkami po usarsku."

"The hussar concept began in Serbia, near the end of the 14th century. In the 16th century, painted wings or winged claws began to appear on cavalry shields. Wings were originally attached to the saddle and later to the back. In 1645, Col. Szczodrowski was said to have used ostrich wings.
In 1500, the Polish Treasury books make reference to hussars. Early on, they were foreign mercenaries, and were called Racowie from "Rascia" a word meaning "of Serbia." They came from the Serbian state of Ras."

Serbian chetniks were not friends of any nazi germans. They wanted the partizans to vanish so they used the nazis. So technically, the nazis got screwed.
