Police arrested a man with Turkish roots Sunday under suspicions he urged terror groups abroad to kidnap Danish nationals.
According to PET, the domestic intelligence agency, the 22-year-old suspect has links to two men arrested on 4 September on suspicion that they were preparing explosives for use in a terror attack.

PET officials stated that the man arrested Sunday in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen apparently had hoped that by kidnapping Danes abroad, pressure could be exerted on Danish authorities to release the two suspects.
