Introducing Uziyahu
Uziyahu:
Shalom, everyone!
I was convinced to visit this forum by a video on YouTube uploaded by Mills.
I gave up Yeshu back in 1998, while reading "James, the Brother of Jesus", by Robert Eisenman, and relearning the Bible from scratch, putting away all of my preconceived notions. I don't think I got all of the way through the Torah before I realized just how anti-Jewish the so-called "New Testament" is.
(I believe that if a born non-Jew Christian wants to TRULY support the State of Israel, they should give up their false god/messiah and start observing the Torah, whether as a Noachide or a convert to Judaism.)
In the late 80's, I served in the United States Army in Alaska, the 6th Infantry Division (Light), the "Arctic Star", which is actually a red Magen David. We were also jokingly called "the Screamin' Hebrews". I went on to serve as a Mormon missionary in Utah, of all places, where I discovered how false Mormonism is. (Mormons believe they are of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.) I went on from their to learn more about the Bible from Jehovah's Witnesses, so-called Messianic Jews, the Sacred Name/Torah-Faith movement, the Ebionites, and Karaite Judaism. I am not a convert to Judaism, according to Rabbinical halachah, but I am circumcised and observe the Torah, without Yeshu, so that makes me a Noachide, according to the Rabbis. I identify myself as Jewish, based on the 1st Century standards for conversion, as evidenced in Flavius Josephus. I'm reading the Mishnah, now, so Rabbinical conversion is still a future possibility.
I am pro-Israel and a big fan of the IDF. I had a wargaming group online called "the IDF Squad" for a number of years. That website is now used to host virtual recreations of modern Israeli soldiers in the Tzahal that are used in a highly-realistic combat simulation series called "Operation Flashpoint" and "Armed Assault".
Here's a picture of some of the units in-game...
IDF Units in Armed Assault
The IDF was using this game series to train its soldiers, but I don't know if they still are. I imagine daily life in Israel provides enough training.
I upload counter-missionary videos on YouTube and often hang out in the Islam Talk room on YouTube, though any talk of the State of Israel tends to get things heated. We REALLY need a Jews & Noachides room going round-the-clock on Stickam.com!
Well, that's it for now, I guess.

Shalom Uziyahu
Welcome. Most interesting! Im also into ARMA! Great game! So are you into game development, or proffessional soldier?
Anyway, welcome

Hi and welcome to the forum :)
Uziyahu:
Thanks for the welcome, everyone!
I was one of the external beta-testers for both "Operation Flashpoint" and "Armed Assault". My computer system that I have now didn't run ArmA so well, so bailed out of beta-testing ArmA. It was obvious the game was in good hands, anyway.
I only served one term in the Army, but I'm still interested in the technology and the tactics. I'm pretty darn pissed-off that the IDF thought that you could use a Merkava tank for hostage rescue. Why are military leaders so brain-dead, sometimes? Are they just playing a board game with soldier's lives?
Hail Columbia:
Welcome to the board.
