Someone ask Chaim about the following
« on: December 03, 2007, 09:12:00 PM »

The NIE said Iraq has WMD, but now a new report wants people to think that Iran isn't intent on developing nuclear weapons.

Even the corrupt IAEA has reported that Iran is trying to enrich uranium.

It seems like the NIE has an agenda to allow Iran to have nuclear weapons.

Iran insists it wants nuclear technology only for civilian purposes, such as electricity generation.

Well what is said in the article pretty much a given.

Iran is pretending only to want non weapons grade uranium , the US and Allies believe thats false.

It gives no more information on the issue than that.

Attack on Iran has not been finalized and even if it was, gentley bentley because Iran is a time bomb waiting to happen.

I don't see the West having much luck in Iran. Iran is killing its own people off. Doing nothing at this point is the best thing to do.

Too many factors play out in Iran for any military move to be justified at this stage. This Nuclear issue is one of many.

It's another Muslim-fellating fluff report from the State Department--the same State Department that says that there will be peace and harmony on earth when Israel commits suicide. Consider the source.

The same people who blame the NIE report in 2002 about Iraq, for the War in Iraq and who say NIE reports shouldn't be trusted, are the same ones who are now praising the recent NIE report about Iran.  Those who now trust the NIE can't have it both ways.

John Bolton says that he knows some of the people who worked on the NIE report.  He thinks they allowed their bias to be a factor in the conclusion.  He also stated that the conclusions weren't unanimous.  Because the threat about Iraq was overstated, he thinks they might be understating the threat of Iran, to try and compensate.
