Poll: Jap whaling fleet

It costs the Japs several times more to run the fleet than what they make out of whale meat/oil.

Japan is rich and has NO food shortage.

Japan is violating international law.

Whales are sentient, intelligent creatures that cannot be humanely killed.

Good news.

Our new Aussie Prime Minister may send our navy to 'monitor' the Japs. O0

A ship belonging to the anti-whaling Sea Shepherd group has been renamed in memory of wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin.

The ship, previously called the Robert Hunter, is about to sail from Melbourne to the Antarctic, where it will try to stop Japanese whalers from killing humpback and other whales.

Irwin's widow Terri Irwin says the move proves her husband's legacy will continue.

Cruel and not necessary, their whaling boats should be sunk...preferably in shark infested waters, we know the japanese are fond of shark fin, its about time that the sharks get to sample some japanese O0
