Pregnant woman hit in stomach by attackers

A PREGNANT woman was struck in the stomach and two men assaulted in a violent attack in Brisbane's south today.
Two men entered a house in Lowry Street at Inala shortly before 11am (AEST) and allegedly assaulted the occupants with a baseball bat and a hammer, police said.
A 38-year-old pregnant woman was hit in the abdomen and received bruising and rib soreness.
A 42-year-old man was struck several times and suffered head, face, back and stomach injuries and a 21-year-old man was also hit on the head and shoulder.
The two men were transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the woman to the Mater Hospital.
All three were believed to be in a stable condition.
The offenders were last seen travelling down Clipper St at Inala in a white sedan.
They were described as caucasian, with olive skin.
