Great to hear you will be keeping your job, but guaranteed this is not over. When the publicity of your campaign gets bigger something along these lines will happen again.
As long as you are not discriminating against muslims in your actual role and duties in real estate you should be allowed to exercise your first amendment rights.
We, Loyalist party and Vito, want to have public debates on islam, want to end muslim immigration, need some creativity here to say this is discriminating against muslims in real estate.
Also, you mentioned someone coming into the office with the newspaper article about you then your boss seemed to be intimidated into letting you go. Have you been able to find out anything further about this?
I still definitely smell political operatives at work here.
Not sure exactly what the law is but there is some kind of law protecting public figures from personal lawsuits from things they say in their official duties as long as it is not malicious slander or libel directed at a particular person, and I believe this also includes candidates plus office holders. In fact Christie Whitman is using this very law in her defense with the whole ground zero air quality thing with a group trying to make her personally responsible.
Vito, this is just the first shot across the bow, it will get worse. Vito needs an army of volunteers to back him up.
Vito's Volunteers, join the fight now!
Now, say hello to Vito's opponent, Ann Margaret Carrozza's operatives, who have most likely googled Vito and traced him to this forum and is monitoring it now. Did you guys(Carrozza) change your mind because you figured this suppression of the first amendment would backfire? Vito and the Loyalists are not going anywhere but to the campaign trail. This time, no Republicans to let you win.
