Most republicans don't care care about the environment.  Can someone be a conservative and still be an environmentalist? Or do environmentalism and republican ideology contradict one another?  I personally want to believe I'm an environmentalist with conservative ideology.  BTW, there are alot of environmentalists who don't believe in global warming. I have reservations about the idea of global warming because i don't know all the evidence.

   Last night I saw a documentary on how various gangs have taken over areas in Southern California to the point where the police are not about to handle the situation. Should these gangs be considered by the military as enemy combatants or should they just be considered as common criminals?
