Are they fox terriers or jack russells?

Hello Newman!

They are considered Parson Russells here in Germany, the very short legged ones go by the name of Jack Russell here. The former are officially recognised, the latter aren't. The Brits are less fussy, they are all Jack Russell or just Russell Terriers, irrespective how long or short their legs are. They don't bother with Kennel Club recognition either. The general idea behind that is, that any official standard means compromising the performance.

Foxterriers and Parsons are very alike, the most prominent difference is the lack of any stop, which gives the former a long-nosed, in a cute way supercilious, appearence the Parson/Jack Russell Terrier doesn't possess. The Parsons have usually less colour as well and are, on an average base, smaller. I have posted in the Appreciation for Creation - Favourite Dog Breed forum something about them.

It seems that people like me were lucky to be born in a country like America. We are very lucky to never know from some of things that you wrote about in your posts. I think you will like JTF a lot. I look forward to spending some time reading your blog when I have some time.

you're kidding. USA is having the same problems , if not more.

Honestly I think we have a long way to go before life in America can be compared to a Soviet Satellite Nation. I have been around for a long time and granted its not what it use to be but in comparison its really not all that bad.

If I am right informed, NY, California, are as bad as USSSR.

I live in New York and although I have seen things better it could never be even remotely compared to life in a state controlled society such as the USSR set up in many places. The only problem we have here is the American people are asleep at the wheel and they are allowing the wool to be pulled over their eyes. America is still in far better shape as far as the muslims and our illegal problem goes than many other of the major countries. Granted if we allow things to carry on as they are progressing in 10 or 20 years what you say might become the case however for now I would have to respectfully disagree.

Hello there! I know your site, Goldfasan, although I have never posted there. The anti-Islam brotherhood in Germany is so small, you may know me as the Roncesvalles-Blogger.

Glad to meet you!

I don't know your blog before. But now I like it.

You have written there some interesting articles.

In example this one about the attempted murder of Rabbi Zalman Gurevitch in Frankfurt.
