MELBOURNE'S brattish teenage party organiser Corey Delaney has been arrested by police.

While the 16-year-old has eluded his parents since they returned from a Gold Coast holiday yesterday to deal with the fallout from the party that turned into a suburban mini-riot but could not avoid police scrutiny.

The young man - who has turned into an international cult figure for organising the house party that attracted hundreds of partygoers - is being question by police at the Narre Warren police station in suburban Melbourne.

The teenager has apologised for the turmoil his party caused neighbours and police - including extensive damage to patrol cars from flying bottles - but has refused to accept responsibility for what happened after the party was brought to an end about midnight on Saturday by officers responding to noise complaints.

He has since made news around the world for organsing the party, and has been fielding offers from party promoters interstate.

Delaney appeared in FM radio in Melbourne this morning - reportedly for a fee - but ran from the studio when announcers tried to remove his signature plastic yellow sunglasses.

Police chief Christine Nixon has said the boy should face a $20,000 bill for the turmoil the party caused.

The media has turned this moron into a celebrity.
Nixon is a fat idiot, if a number of cops were called in even with their chopper, why weren't any arrests made? They can spray half the crowd at the tennis with capsicum spray for no real reason yet can't even break up a teenager's house party.

That money needs to given over to the police for damages the nuff caused.

A couple of his mates have been arrested on child porn charges, probably possessing photos of themselves screwing each other. I hope this tool and the rest of his mates get severely beaten up in the near future.
